Candle Care

Let the candle pool wellYou will experience the best burning result when the candle burns for 3 to 4 hours. Make sure that the wax of the candle has melted to the glass before you extinguish the candle. This can take 1.5 to 2 hours. This prevents the candle from 'tunneling'. |
Trim the wick in timeThe wick should be trimmed to about 5mm before use. If the wick needs to be trimmed, do this when the candle is extinguished and the wax has solidified. Using a wick trimmer or regular scissors, cut off a piece of the wick and blow it out of the candle to prevent it from ending up back in the wax. |

Never move the candle when it is burning or the wax has meltedFor your own safety, only touch the candle when it is extinguished and the wax has completely solidified. |

Do not burn the candle for too longIf there is still a layer of about 5mm of wax in the glass, the candle is finished and it is best to stop burning. Extinguish the candle, carefully wipe the remaining soy wax from the jar and remove the remains of the wick. The jars are suitable for reuse and can be put in the dishwasher. |
Clean the glass regularlyAlthough soy wax burns cleaner than paraffin, it is still possible for deposits to form on the glass. This also applies if the wick has been left on too long. Fortunately, this deposit is easy to keep clean with a microfiber cloth. Note: only do this when the candle is out and has completely solidified! |
